几只饥饿的狗看见河面中心漂浮着一张牛皮，就想拿来充饥。可是牛皮距离河岸太远，他们想尽了办法也够不着。经过商量后，他们决定喝干河里的水，这样就可以得到那张牛皮了。结果，牛皮还没有拿到手，他们的肚皮就被河水胀破了。
不要尝试办不到的事情。
Some Dogs famished with hunger saw a number of cowhides steeping in a river. Not being able to reach them，they agreed to drink up the river，but it happened that they burst themselves with drinking long before they reached the hides.

The Dog’s House
冬天，狗蜷缩在一个极为狭窄的地方冻得瑟瑟发抖，他暗下决心等天气暖和的时候一定要给自己建造一所房子。可是，等到夏天来临的时候，他却整日在舒舒服服地睡大觉、伸懒腰。这时候，他就想既然已经有了这么舒服的地方睡觉，那么就根本没有必要去费力修建房子了。
